| Millburn Hairpin, Coleraine The 350cc race of the 1947 'North West 200' and Ken Bills leads Albert Mole and Malcolm Templeton around the famous Millburn Hairpin at Coleraine. Malcolm Templeton went on to win the race at an average speed of 68.03 miles per hour. Normally run in May the 'North West 200' has been the major sporting event in the area since 1929. The course, bikes and speeds have changed dramatically since this photograph. | ||
